These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
I believe that as soon as you’ve committed to a diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You may just wind up in the frustrating position of starting all over from scratch.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
It’s basic, but hugely important.
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
Items that one diet plan prevents you from consuming, another, seemingly equally legit diet plan 100 percent encourages. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s not kid ourselves. Culinary videos can be unbelievably irresistible. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Makes sense to me. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is clearly conventional weight loss advice. It probably earned its right to be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And you may not want to play around with those.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
