So here’s the story…
Diet plans clearly abound. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
It’s for this reason that, as soon as you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start menu planning, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It may just have you returning to the very beginning.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Food and beverages that one program allows, another, seemingly equally legitimate program is likely to restrict. It’s always super tempting to dabble. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And one thing that’s clear… Culinary videos are, in many instances, 100 percent tempting. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is clearly the world’s most popular weight loss advice. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
