There are obviously many diet plans in the world. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
So the moment you’ve made your choice, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It may just have you returning to square one.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Know what I mean?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
What one diet plan doesn’t permit, an entirely different diet plan completely permits, and perhaps even encourages. The grass always seems greener on the other side. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s be honest here. Meal prep videos can oftentimes be completely tough to resist. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is clearly the world’s most popular weight loss advice. As well it should be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
