This delicious recipe is alkaline which is the essence of a memorable, healthy meal. Using walnuts as the main source of a meat alternative is something I haven’t thought of until now, but as I type this I am planning my next trip to the store so I can grab all I need to give it a try!

There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. It can be overwhelming to decide.
That’s why I believe that, the moment you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start menu planning, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It’ll probably have you returning to the starting line.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
On a low-fat diet, you crave fat. On a low-calorie diet, you tend to crave calorie-rich foods. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And let’s tell the truth. Culinary videos can oftentimes be ridiculously irresistible. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
You’ll probably recognize this as common-sense weight loss. And this is for good reason!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
