So let’s chat a bit…

There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.

It’s for this reason that, as soon as a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You may just end up back at the very beginning.

For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.

The importance of this cannot be overstated.

Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. The reason for this is actually quite simple…

That which one program doesn’t let you consume, a whole other diet plan completely allows. It’s always super tempting to dabble. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s be honest here. Culinary videos are often pretty tempting.

Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).

This is conventional weight loss advice. And it’s for good reason that it is!

Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.

Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
