These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
It’s for this reason that, when you’ve made your choice, and it’s time to start menu planning, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It may just take you back to the beginning.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Does this make sense?
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
Food and drinks that one program won’t allow, a totally different eating plan totally allows. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And let’s make no mistake about it… Food-based videos can be unbelievably difficult to resist.
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
It’s common-sense weight loss. There’s probably a good reason for this!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
