These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
As such, as soon as you’ve committed to a diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You could very well find yourself starting all over again.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
You will most often develop a pretty powerful appetite for whichever foods your current eating plan won’t allow, which some entirely different diet program 100% encourages. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s not kid ourselves. Meal prep videos are often pretty tough to resist. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Seems pretty logical, really. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is clearly conventional wisdom. There’s probably good reason for this!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
