There are obviously many diet plans in the world. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
Therefore, once you’ve decided on a particular diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It’ll probably return you to the very beginning.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
Food and beverages that one eating plan deprives you of, an entirely different diet plan completely permits. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s not BS ourselves. Meal prep videos are often 100% tempting. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
Clearly, this is standard, conventional wisdom. And this is for good reason!
Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.

Bring yourself over to the low carb videos category page right here on the site. There are countless videos for you to dive into.
After that, go ahead and start bookmarking the videos that you like in your browser. Compile these bookmarks into a brand new file folder which can be called “**DIET TYPE (LOW-CARB, VEGAN, PALEO, ETC)** Cooking Vids,” or something else that you’ll remember.
