Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
As such, as soon as you’ve decided on a particular diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. You may find yourself needing to start over.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Food and drinks that one diet encourages, an entirely different diet program is likely to restrict. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s call a spade a spade… Food-based videos can oftentimes be unbelievably seductive. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
Makes sense to me. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
This is surely the world’s most popular weight loss advice. It probably earned its right to be!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
