I just wanted to say a few things…
There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
That’s why I believe that, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You might end up having to start all over from scratch.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Does this make sense?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Food and beverages that one diet plan disallows, some other plan fully encourages. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s call a spade a spade… Recipe videos are oftentimes pretty tempting. π
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense to me. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
Clearly, this is common-sense weight loss. And this is for good reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
