Let’s talk…

Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!

That’s why I believe that, when the choice has been made, and it’s time to start menu planning, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It will bring you back to square one.

It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

The importance of this cannot be overstated.

I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And there’s really only one reason why…

On a low-sugar diet, you crave sweets. On calorie-restriction, you crave high calorie foods. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And one thing that’s clear… Culinary videos are usually pretty damned tough to resist. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

Seems like pretty responsible advice. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).

This is common-sense weight loss. There’s probably good reason for this!

Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.

Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
