Moving on…
Diet plans clearly abound. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
I believe that the moment you’ve made your choice, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You may find yourself needing to start all over.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
The importance of this cannot be overstated.
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
You’re going to generally tend to develop cravings for those foods that your plan won’t permit, which a completely different system fully encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not lie to ourselves. Cooking videos are, in many cases, completely will-shattering. š
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
This, of course, is conventional wisdom. As well it should be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
