Here’s where you want to go…
Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
So as soon as you’ve committed to a diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It may just bring you back to the very beginning.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
It’s basic but hugely important.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
On low-carb, you crave carbs. On a low-fat diet, you crave fat. It’s always super tempting to dabble. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And one thing is clear… Food videos are oftentimes quite difficult to resist. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it takes to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is clearly common-sense weight loss. And this is for good reason!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
