Diet plans clearly abound. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
So the moment the choice has been made, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It may just have you returning to the drawing board.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
It’s basic, but hugely important.
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
On calorie-restriction, you crave high calorie foods. On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. It’s always super tempting to dabble. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And one thing that’s clear… Food-based videos are often undeniably will-shattering. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Seems pretty logical, really. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
It’s standard, conventional advice. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
Here’s What I Recommend…
Take a look at the vegan recipes category page here on DietRecipeVideos. I’m sharing tons of great stuff with you there.
Then, using your browser’s bookmarking feature, begin saving the videos that you like. What I would do is compile these into a brand new bookmarks folder bearing the name “Vegan Meal Vids,” unless unless you have a different name in mind.
