There are obviously many diet plans in the world. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
So the moment you’ve made your choice, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You’re very likely to wind up back at the beginning of your journey.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
This is extremely important.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
On low-carb, you crave carbs. On a low-fat diet, you crave fat. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s tell the truth here. Recipe videos can be 100 percent tough to resist. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
You’ll probably recognize this as common weight loss advice. And this is for good reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
