Clean Chickpea, Cucumber, Tomato Salad Recipe
A simple, healthy side dish that the whole family is bound to love. I’m obsessed with chickpeas, and love putting them in salads. I’ve never thought to put them in a cucumber tomato salad before but I’m glad I’ve finally come across something like this

Here’s the story…
Diet plans clearly abound. It can be overwhelming to decide.
That’s why I believe that, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It’ll likely take you back to the starting line.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Make sense?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Food that one plan allows, and perhaps even encourages, an entirely different diet program is probably going to say no to. The grass always seems greener on the other side. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s not BS ourselves. Cooking videos are, in many cases, unbelievably tempting. π
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense to me. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This, of course, is common weight loss advice. It probably earned its right to be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
