Coconut Oil Roasted Beets Recipe
I made a few different beet dishes this thanksgiving and the best one by far was the roasted beets that I coated in coconut oil. When I tell you they were PERFECT, I truly mean it! Everyone in the house went for seconds and/or thirds.

Let’s talk…
Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
Therefore, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It may just return you to the beginning.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
On sugar-restriction, you crave sweets. On calorie-restriction, you crave high calorie foods. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And let’s tell the truth here. Food-based videos can be quite tough to resist. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
Seems pretty logical, really. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is surely standard, conventional wisdom. As well it should be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And you may not want to play around with those.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
Here’s What I’d Do If I Were You…
