Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
Therefore, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. This often takes people back to square one.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Makes perfect sense, right?
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
That which one diet program disallows, another diet program fully encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s be honest here. Recipe videos can be 100 percent tempting. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Makes sense to me. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
This is surely the most popular weight loss model in existence. As well it should be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
