Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
I believe that when you’ve committed to a diet, and it’s time to start menu planning, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It will take you back to square one.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
You’re gonna generally crave whatever it happens to be that your eating plan prevents you from consuming, which an entirely different plan totally allows. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s be honest. Food-based videos are, in many instances, undeniably tempting. π
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
At the end of the day, it makes sense. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is the most popular weight loss model in existence. And it’s for good reason that it is!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
