These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
Therefore, the moment you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. You may find yourself needing to start over.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
Food and drinks that one program allows, a whole other program is going to forbid. It’s always super tempting to dabble. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s not kid ourselves. Food-based videos are oftentimes pretty damned difficult to resist. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
No doubt that this is common-sense weight loss. As well it should be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
