Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
So when you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It will take you back to the drawing board.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Items that one program won’t allow, some totally different plan totally allows, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And one thing is clear… Recipe videos are, in many cases, 100 percent hard to resist. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Seems pretty logical, really. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
This is surely standard, conventional advice. As well it should be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. And you may not want to play around with those.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
