There are obviously many diet plans in the world. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
As such, once you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It may just take you back to square one.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
That which one diet plan permits, and perhaps even encourages, some totally different diet plan is going to disallow. The grass always seems greener on the other side. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s not BS ourselves. Recipe videos are oftentimes ridiculously will-weakening. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is surely common-sense weight loss. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!

Take a look at the healthy recipes category page right here on the site. There are countless videos for you to dive into.
Then, ensure quick and easy future access to each of your favorite recipes by simply bookmarking them in your browser. What I would do is compile these into an all new folder which can be labeled “**DIET TYPE (LOW-CARB, VEGAN, PALEO, ETC)** Videos,” or whatever you prefer.
