Diet plans clearly abound. It can be overwhelming to decide.
So as soon as you’ve decided on a particular diet, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It will bring you back to the drawing board.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
The importance of this cannot be overstated.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And there’s really only one reason why…
Items that one plan deprives you of, a totally different plan 100 percent allows, and perhaps even encourages. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And one thing that’s clear… Cooking videos can be undeniably seductive. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
Makes sense. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
This is surely standard, conventional advice. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
