There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. It can be overwhelming to decide.
That’s why I believe that, as soon as the choice has been made, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It may just have you returning to the starting line.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Does this make sense?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And there’s really only one reason why…
What one diet program permits, and perhaps even encourages, another, seemingly equally legit diet program will likely deprive you of. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not BS ourselves. Cooking videos are often 100% seductive. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
You’ll probably recognize this as the most popular weight loss model in existence. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
