There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. It can be overwhelming to decide.
It’s for this reason that, once you’ve committed to a diet, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It may just bring you back to square one.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Makes perfect sense, right?
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
Food and beverages that one diet doesn’t permit, a whole other eating plan 100 percent allows. The grass always seems greener on the other side. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And one thing that’s clear… Recipe videos are oftentimes 100% tough to resist. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is common-sense weight loss. And this is for good reason!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
What I Recommend…
Take yourself over to the drink recipes category page here on DietRecipeVideos. These should certainly keep you engaged and on track.
Then, using your browser’s bookmarking feature, begin saving the videos that you like. Create a new file folder which you can label “Drink Cooking Videos,” unless there something else you like better.
