Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
For this reason, as soon as you’ve committed to a diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You’re very likely to wind up starting all over.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Makes perfect sense, right?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
That which one eating plan disallows, a whole other plan fully permits. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s tell the truth. Food videos are, in many instances, undeniably seductive. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
Clearly, this is standard, conventional advice. As well it should be!
Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
