Healthy Watermelon Sorbet Recipe

The other day I saw one of those Facebook recipe videos for watermelon ice-cream, and when I made it I realized they should have called it sorbet instead, since thats basically what it was. It was super tasty nonetheless, and so I decided to give you all a peak into the recipe. I like this one because it only uses two ingredients total. It was great in a little waffle cone, or in a bowl.

Here’s where you want to go…

Moving along…

There are obviously many diet plans in the world. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.

For this reason, the moment you’ve made your choice, and it’s time to start menu planning, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It will bring you back to square one.

Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

Does this make sense?

I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…

Food that one program disallows, another, seemingly equally legitimate plan 100 percent allows, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s not BS ourselves. Culinary videos are, in many instances, pretty damned difficult to resist. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

Makes sense to me. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).

It’s common weight loss advice. There’s probably good reason for this!

Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.

Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
