These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
For this reason, as soon as a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You’re very likely to wind up needing to start over from scratch.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
Food and drinks that one diet plan won’t allow you to consume, some other diet plan 100% encourages. It’s always super tempting to dabble. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not lie to ourselves. Cooking videos can be 100% will-shattering. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it takes to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
No doubt that this is the world’s most popular weight loss advice. It probably earned its right to be!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
