Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. It can be overwhelming to decide.
It’s for this reason that, when you’ve decided on a particular diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You could very well wind up needing to start over.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Make sense?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
Items that one plan allows, an entirely different plan will probably limit or completely forbid. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not kid ourselves. Cooking videos are usually extremely will-shattering. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
You’ll probably recognize this as standard, conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
