There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
For this reason, once the choice has been made, and it’s time to start menu planning, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You may very well wind up back at the drawing board.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Makes perfect sense, right?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
On low-calorie, you crave calories. On a low-fat diet, you crave fat. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s call a spade a spade… Recipe videos can oftentimes be 100 percent difficult to resist. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it takes to help you reach your goals.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
It’s conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And you may not want to play around with those.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!

Check out the Vegan recipe videos category page right here on the site. There are countless videos for you to dive into.
Then, bookmark the videos that you really enjoy in your browser. Compile these bookmarks into a brand new bookmarks folder which can be labeled “Vegan Meal Videos,” unless another name strikes your fancy.
