There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
Therefore, when the choice has been made, and it’s time to start menu planning, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You may very well find yourself back at the very beginning.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
What one diet permits, another, seemingly equally legitimate plan is likely to forbid. And let’s not lie to ourselves. Recipe videos can oftentimes be pretty darn irresistible. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Seems pretty logical, really. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
This is the most popular weight loss model in existence. And this is for good reason!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And you may not want to play around with those.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
