So let’s chat a bit…
There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
So when you’ve decided on a particular diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You may just find yourself starting all over.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Does this make sense?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
You’re going to generally tend to crave whatever your program won’t allow you to consume, which a competing diet program allows, and perhaps even encourages. It’s always super tempting to dabble. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And one thing is clear… Cooking videos are oftentimes pretty darn will-weakening. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
Seems pretty logical, really. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is surely conventional weight loss advice. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
