These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. It can be overwhelming to decide.
Therefore, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You may very well end up needing to start all over again.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Food and beverages that one diet plan permits, and perhaps even encourages, a whole other plan is likely gonna deprive you of. The grass always seems greener on the other side. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s not BS ourselves. Culinary videos are usually completely hard to resist.
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
You’ll probably recognize this as standard, conventional wisdom. As well it should be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
