Diet plans clearly abound. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
For this reason, when a particular diet has been chosen, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. This often takes people back to the beginning.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Does this make sense?
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
What one program allows, and perhaps even encourages, another, seemingly equally legitimate program will likely limit. It’s always super tempting to dabble. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s be honest. Culinary videos are often pretty knee-weakening. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is surely conventional weight loss advice. It probably earned its right to be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
