Diet plans clearly abound. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
Therefore, the moment you’ve made your choice, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It may just bring you back to the beginning.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
On calorie-restriction, you crave calorically-dense foods. On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. And let’s be honest. Recipe videos are usually completely knee-weakening. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Makes sense to me. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
No doubt that this is conventional weight loss advice. And this is for good reason!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
