Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
I believe that when you’ve committed to a diet, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. You just might end up back at the beginning of your journey.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Makes perfect sense, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And I’ve done so for one simple reason…
You’ll typically tend to develop a pretty powerful appetite for whichever items your diet forbids you to consume, which a competing plan fully allows, and perhaps even encourages. It’s always super tempting to dabble. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s tell the truth here. Recipe videos are, in many instances, pretty difficult to resist. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
It’s the most popular weight loss model in existence. It probably earned its right to be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
