So here’s the story…
There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. It can be overwhelming to decide.
I believe that once a particular diet has been chosen, and it’s time to start menu planning, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. You might wind up starting all over again.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
You will typically tend to have cravings for whatever foods your chosen diet plan doesn’t permit, which another eating program totally permits, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s call a spade a spade… Culinary videos can oftentimes be extremely seductive. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This, of course, is common weight loss advice. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And you may not want to play around with those.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
