There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. It can be overwhelming to decide.
So when a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It will bring you back to square one.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
You will tend to develop a pretty powerful appetite for the foods and drinks that your current plan restricts, which an entirely different eating plan 100% encourages. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s tell the truth here. Food-based videos can be quite irresistible. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
No doubt that this is conventional weight loss advice. As well it should be!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. And you may not want to play around with those.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
