I just wanted to say a few things…
Diet plans clearly abound. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
So as soon as the choice has been made, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It may just have you returning to the drawing board.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Makes perfect sense, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. On a low-carb diet, you tend to crave carbs. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s call a spade a spade… Food-based videos can be completely hard to resist. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
This is surely common-sense weight loss. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
