Moving on…
These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
So as soon as the choice has been made, and it’s time to start menu planning, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It may just take you back to the starting line.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Makes perfect sense, right?
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
Food that one plan permits, a whole other diet plan is probably going to limit or completely forbid. The grass always seems greener on the other side. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s make no mistake about it… Recipe videos can oftentimes be extremely seductive. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
At the end of the day, it makes sense. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
It’s conventional wisdom. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
