Here’s the story…

There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!

That’s why I believe that, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It’ll likely take you back to the starting line.

For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.

Pretty basic stuff, right?

In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…

Food and drinks that one program doesn’t allow, some totally different diet 100% permits. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s be honest. Meal prep videos are, in many cases, pretty hard to resist.

Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.

Seems like pretty responsible advice. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.

It’s standard, conventional advice. And it’s for good reason that it is!

Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.

Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
