Here’s the story…
There are obviously many diet plans in the world. It can be overwhelming to decide.
It’s for this reason that, as soon as a particular diet has been chosen, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. You just might wind up in the frustrating position of having to start all over again.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And there’s really only one reason why…
On a low-calorie diet, you tend to crave calorie-rich foods. On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s not lie to ourselves. Meal prep videos can be pretty knee-weakening. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
It’s conventional wisdom. There’s probably good reason for this!
Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.

Then, bookmark the videos that you really enjoy in your browser. Create a brand new bookmarks folder which can be named “Paleo Videos,” or something else that you’ll remember.
