When I’m surfing the web for the best looking diet recipes videos, I tend to get filled with vegan and low carb options. I have to remind myself sometimes to branch out and post some recipes for other diet followers. This is a great low(er) carb hash brown sub that happens to be PALEO too!

Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.

Therefore, once you’ve committed to a diet, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You could very well wind up in the frustrating position of starting all over from scratch.

This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.

I cannot overstate how important this is.

In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…

On a low-carb diet, you tend to crave carbs. On sugar-restriction, you crave sweets. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And one thing is clear… Food videos are usually quite will-weakening. 😉

Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

At the end of the day, it makes sense. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.

You’ll probably recognize this as the most popular weight loss model in existence. And it probably has that designation for a reason!

Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.

Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
