Diet plans clearly abound. It can be overwhelming to decide.

For this reason, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It will take you back to the very beginning.

You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.

This is extremely important.

I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…

You’re going to typically have cravings for the foods and drinks that your eating plan won’t permit, which some entirely different diet system 100 percent encourages. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s be honest. Food-based videos are, in many cases, completely hard to resist. 😉

If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

Makes sense to me. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.

No doubt that this is standard, conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!

Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.

At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
