So let’s chat a bit…
There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
That’s why I believe that, the moment you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start menu planning, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You may very well find yourself starting all over again.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Know what I mean?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And there’s really only one reason why…
Foods that one diet plan won’t permit, a whole other diet plan completely permits. It’s always super tempting to dabble. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s call a spade a spade… Food videos can be unbelievably will-weakening. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
It’s common-sense weight loss. And this is for good reason!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
Here’s My Recommendation…
Head on over to my keto recipe videos category page on the site. I’ve compiled tons of great videos for you.
After that, go ahead and start bookmarking the videos that you like in your browser. What I would do is compile these into a whole new bookmarks folder with the name “Keto Cooking Vids,” unless you’d prefer something else.
