Polenta Fries Recipe
I love using polenta in the kitchen, and i’m always looking for new recipes for it. I’m a pro at mashed polenta, but these polenta fries are a whole new level of delish! I made them for lunch today and they were extremely simple and very filling! I can’t wait to keep playing around with the recipe but for starters this video is perfect.

Let’s chat…
Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
That’s why I believe that, when the choice has been made, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It’ll likely take you back to the drawing board.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Know what I mean?
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
On calorie-restriction, you crave high calorie foods. On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not BS ourselves. Food videos are, in many cases, completely will-shattering. π
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
Clearly, this is standard, conventional advice. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
