There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
As such, the moment you’ve committed to a diet, and it’s time to start menu planning, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You may just find yourself having to start all over.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
On low-fat, you crave fat. On a low-carb diet, you tend to crave carbs. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And let’s call a spade a spade… Recipe videos are usually pretty damned will-weakening. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
This, of course, is standard, conventional wisdom. There’s probably good reason for this!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!

After that, go ahead and start bookmarking the videos that you like in your browser. Add them to a whole new file folder that can be labeled “Vegan Meal Videos,” or whatever you decide on.
