Shrimp Salad Recipe

I LOVE this light and refreshing shrimp salad recipe has avocado, cherry tomatoes, candy beets, and blood oranges all brought together with a light, zingy champagne vinegar dressing. Lots of flavor and really easy/quick to prepare!

I just wanted to say a few things…

These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.

So as soon as you’ve committed to a diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It will take you back to the beginning.

You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

Makes perfect sense, right?

Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. The reason for this is actually quite simple…

Items that one diet prevents you from consuming, some totally different diet program 100 percent allows, and perhaps even encourages. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And one thing is clear… Food-based videos are, in many cases, undeniably knee-weakening. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.

Makes sense when you really think about it. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.

You’ll probably recognize this as standard, conventional advice. As well it should be!

But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.

Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
