Diet plans clearly abound. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
As such, as soon as you’ve decided on a particular diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It may just bring you back to the starting line.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Makes perfect sense, right?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
On low-calorie, you crave calorie-rich foods. On low-sugar, you crave sweets. The grass always seems greener on the other side. And one thing that’s clear… Meal prep videos are usually pretty hard to resist. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Seems pretty logical, really. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
No doubt that this is standard, conventional advice. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
