There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
I believe that the moment the choice has been made, and it’s time to start menu planning, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It will take you back to the starting line.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
This is extremely important.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
On low-sugar, you crave sweets. On calorie-restriction, you crave high calorie foods. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s not kid ourselves. Food videos are usually ridiculously difficult to resist. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Seems pretty logical, really. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is surely conventional wisdom. As well it should be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
